The Marketing & Communication Strategic Planner at OXYGEN Group APAC plays a critical role in transforming insights into powerful strategies that drive creative excellence and business impact. This role is the foundation of every great campaign — connecting data, cultural trends, human behavior, and business objectives to shape compelling communication platforms across branding, marketing, and integrated campaigns.

As a mid-level planner, you’ll work closely with account leads, creatives, and media teams to lead the strategic development process from brief to execution. Your ability to think analytically, synthesize diverse information, and inspire creative teams will help shape award-winning, purpose-driven campaigns that move people and brands forward.

  • Analyze market trends, category dynamics, competitive activity, and consumer behavior.
  • Collaborate with media, digital, and performance teams to align audience insights with channel strategies.
  • Identify cultural and human truths that anchor strategic direction.

Brand & Communication Frameworks

  • Define brand positioning, tone of voice, messaging frameworks, and campaign architecture.

Client Engagement & Presentation

  • Present strategic thinking, campaign frameworks, and cultural insights to clients with clarity and persuasion.
  • Collaborate with account managers to align strategy with client priorities and feedback.
  • Represent the strategic discipline in key meetings and new business pitches.

Expectations of the Role

  • Clarity of Thought: Simplify complexity and lead with logic.

  • Collaboration: Co-create with creatives and account teams fluidly.
  • Inspiration: Craft briefs and presentations that move people emotionally and intellectually.
  • Precision: Be sharp with language, structure, and recommendation.
